Mistakes and Misprints:

In the unlikely event that we make a significant error in printing your shirts, we are committed to reprinting the order for you at no additional cost. Please note that refunds are not offered. This scenario typically applies to serious mistakes, such as printing the wrong artwork, printing in the wrong location, or ordering garments of the incorrect color. If you require precise artwork measurements, Pantone ink matching, or press checks, it is crucial to communicate these requirements prior to approval. Ensure that such requests are clearly stated in the “notes” section of the quote sent for approval, as additional charges may apply.

Within the printing industry, misprints can occur. Instances such as screens going out of registration, garment defects, or garments originating from a faulty dye lot are among the possibilities. Despite these potential challenges, we strive to maintain misprints and defects well below 1% of all garments printed throughout the year. However, it is important to note that this average does not guarantee that your order will have less than 1% misprints. If a few misprints occur in your order, we will reprint them at our own discretion, if they meet an acceptable standard. Considering the possibility of misprints, we recommend ordering extra garments if precise quantities are required due to preorders or specific team member requests. For instance, if you are ordering a single Extra Small garment for your child, there is a chance it could become a misprint. Due to the nature of the screen printing process, we would be unable to set up the screens again solely for the purpose of printing this single shirt.

While we make efforts to minimize misprints, they can still occur unpredictably. We encourage you to collaborate with us and plan ahead to ensure a smooth printing experience.

                   *** Spoilage and misprints ***

Mistakes happen!

We will Credited up to 5%/$250 of an order proven not to match the art
approval or quote, and/or offer a significant credit toward your next order.
Under/Over Quantity Tolerance

Custom printing is a skilled process, especially when using water-based and discharge inks. We strive to fulfill your order with the exact quantity you requested for each size. However, occasional errors can occur during printing, such as screen breakage or defects on shirts from the manufacturer. To account for these possibilities, we have established an under/over quantity tolerance, which allows for a reasonable margin of error.

All orders falling within the under/over quantity tolerance will be considered acceptable for delivery. Therefore, we strongly recommend ordering additional garments for each size to mitigate any potential profit loss. Please note that 6ix Print Custom will not be held responsible for any profit loss resulting from under-quantity runs. If an under-quantity run exceeds our under/over quantity tolerance, we will reprint the remaining quantity upon request.

Standard Under/Over Quantity Tolerance: 5%

The under/over quantity tolerance for contract orders is based on the number of impressions on the order, not the number of individual pieces.

Refunds and returns:

WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS OR RETURNS

We may work with you on a case-by-case basis if we have
made an error.

RUSH ORDERS

Orders that require an in-hands date sooner than our standard turnaround time (per the order specs and services) are subject to rush fees.

Rush (3-5 Business Days): add 25% to Shirt Price

Super Rush (2 Business Days): add 50% to Shirt Price

Rush Orders are subject to the same Under/Over Run Allowance as standard orders. Rush time frames are based on our current production schedule and do not include shipping time. 6ix Print Custom will not be held responsible for shipping issues once your order has left our facility.

Acceptance clause

Use of our services constitutes acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.

Artwork Creation & Ownership

When you choose 6ix Print Custom for artwork creation, we want to ensure clarity regarding ownership rights. Here’s how it works:

1. Artwork Created by 6ix Print Custom :
Any artwork created by 6ix Print Custom remains the sole property of 6ix Print Custom. Our service fee covers the labor and creative process involved in producing the artwork. Please note that ownership and rights to the artwork are not included in the service fee. If you wish to obtain ownership rights, they can be purchased separately, in addition to the artwork creation fees.

2. Customer-Provided Artwork:
If you submit your own artwork to be printed by 6ix Print Custom, please be aware that you retain ownership or hold the necessary rights to that artwork. We respect your ownership and will not reproduce your artwork, whether it is trademarked or not, without your explicit consent or the consent of the rightful owner.

At 6ix Print Custom, we value transparency and respect for intellectual property rights. Should you have any questions or concerns about artwork ownership, feel free to reach out to us for further clarification.

If artwork is provided in a format that is not print-ready as outlined in our File Prep section, you may incurred additional fees at our current rate. Rest assured, we will always provide you with an estimate before proceeding with any necessary work. Please note that any art preparation conducted will be owned by 6ix Print Custom. For instance, if you submit artwork for your order that requires us to create a separated art file, it’s important to note that you do not own the separated art file. Instead, the separated file remains the property of 6ix Print Custom, while the artwork itself remains your property.

Art Approval

All artwork must be approved online. Upon receiving your initial mockup, you will be allowed one additional set of revisions free of charge. Any additional revisions past that point will incur an additional Art Preparation fee to be billed at our current rate. Changes to the artwork after approving the mockup could push back your ship date. We will not be responsible for errors, misspelling, or otherwise in approved digital mockups and artwork.

Out of Stock Items

At 6ix Print Custom, we want to inform you about our policy regarding out of stock items. Please note the following:

1. Purchasing and Stock:
We operate on an order-by-order basis and do not maintain extensive stock of goods at our facilities. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the availability of specific items. While we strive to provide an accurate inventory status before you place your order, we are unable to reserve or hold goods from the time you receive a quote to when you actually place the order.

2. Out of Stock Resolution:
In the event that items become out of stock, we will make every effort to find a suitable replacement. Before using any alternative item for your order, we will seek your approval to ensure it meets your requirements and expectations.

At 6ix Print Custom, we value transparency and strive to provide you with the best possible service. If you have any concerns or questions regarding out of stock items, please feel free to contact us.

Manufacturer Defects

At 6ix Print Custom, it’s important to understand our policy regarding manufacturer defects. Please take note of the following:

1. Responsibility:
6ix Print Custom cannot be held responsible for manufacturer defects, which may include garment color inconsistencies, mislabeled sizes, loose stitching, label inconsistencies, or any other defects inherent to the garments themselves. While we make every effort to inspect the garments during the printing process, we cannot guarantee perfection for each individual garment.

2. Precautionary Measure:
To minimize the potential for encountering the aforementioned issues, we highly recommend ordering an additional 5% of each size. This extra quantity serves as a precautionary measure and helps to mitigate the impact of any possible manufacturer defects.

At 6ix Print Custom, we prioritize delivering high-quality products to our customers. If you have any further inquiries or concerns regarding manufacturer defects, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We are here to assist you.

Garment Subjectivity

At 6ix Print Custom, we want to address the issue of garment subjectivity. Please take note of the following:

1. Personal Preference:
We want to clarify that 6ix Print Custom cannot be held responsible if you do not like the garment printed on or the printed artwork. While we strive to ensure that you select a garment that meets your expectations and requirements, we also encourage you to conduct your own research and make an informed decision. We provide garment size specifications for each product listed on our website. In cases where size specifications are not available on our site, we recommend verifying them on the manufacturers’ website to ensure the garment will fit as intended.

2. Blank Sample:
If there is any uncertainty regarding your satisfaction with the selected garment, we highly recommend ordering a blank sample first. It’s important to note that ordering blank samples will extend the overall turnaround time. These samples are available for purchase, but please be aware that they are non-refundable and cannot be transferred towards a full production run.

At 6ix Print Custom, we are committed to delivering the best possible service and products. If you have any further questions or concerns about garment subjectivity, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We are here to assist you throughout the process.

Order Minimums

At 6ix Print Custom, we have set a minimum order requirement of 10 garments per Logo, Image or Text. Please take note of the following details:

1. Minimum Quantity:
To meet the minimum order requirement, all 10 garments must have the same Logo, Image or Text printed on them. If you choose to have a single different image on each of the 50 garments, it would not fulfill the minimum order criteria.

2. Ensuring Compliance:
We kindly ask you to carefully consider your design and image selection to ensure that it aligns with our minimum order policy. This helps us maintain efficiency in our production processes and provide you with the best possible service.

At 6ix Print Custom, we strive to accommodate your printing needs while maintaining certain operational standards. If you have any further questions or require clarification regarding our order minimums, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are here to assist you throughout the ordering process.

Image Sizes

At 6ix Print Custom, we want to provide clarity regarding our policy on image sizes. Please review the following information:

1. Standard Image Size:
By default, all shirt sizes within an order will be printed with the same image size, unless otherwise specified.

2. Different Image Sizes:
If you require different image sizes to be printed on different shirt sizes, please note that this will be treated as a new order and priced accordingly. We will work with you to accommodate your specific requests and provide a quote for the customized order.

3. Proximity to Seams:
It’s important to note that when an image is printed within 1 inch of any seam, there may be a risk of distortion, print imperfections, and/or other small inconsistencies. These variations are considered acceptable within industry standards. We cannot assume responsibility for print imperfections that may arise from printing too closely to seams.

At 6ix Print Custom, we strive to deliver high-quality prints while adhering to best practices. If you have any further questions or concerns regarding image sizes, please feel free to reach out to us. We are here to assist you throughout the ordering process.

Seam, Collar, and Zipper Printing

At 6ix Print Custom, we strive to achieve the highest quality prints with every job we handle. However, it’s important to note that printing on or over seams, collars, pockets, zippers, or any other uneven surfaces may result in certain challenges. Please review the following information:

1. Potential Print Imperfections:
Printing on or over these areas is subject to potential distortion, print imperfections, and small inconsistencies. These variations are inherent to the nature of the printing process and are considered acceptable within industry standards.

2. Acceptable Goods:
Any slight variations or imperfections resulting from printing on or over seams, collars, pockets, zippers, or similar areas will not be considered as misprints. We aim to deliver the best possible outcome while acknowledging the limitations posed by these uneven surfaces.

At 6ix Print Custom, we take pride in our commitment to transparency and delivering quality products. If you have any further questions or concerns regarding seam, collar, and zipper printing.

Wash-down with Water-based Inks

Please note that water-based and discharge inks, which actually dye the fabric, differ from plastisol inks that sit on top of the shirt like plastic. Consequently, we cannot be held responsible for any fading or weathering of goods. Once a print, whether water-based or plastisol, leaves our facility, we have no control over the elements it may encounter, such as wash temperature, abrasiveness, soaps, chemicals, and more. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the wash-down and weathering of the product.

Rest assured, we utilize the highest quality products and equipment available for water-based and discharge ink printing. Our commitment to delivering exceptional work is unwavering. However, it is important to anticipate minimal wash-down of ink colors with each subsequent wash, as the fabric naturally fades over time.

At 6ix Print Custom, we value transparency and aim to provide the best possible information. If you have any further inquiries or concerns about wash-down with water-based inks, please feel free to reach out to us. We are here to assist you throughout the process.

Care Instructions

To ensure the longevity and vibrancy of your printed images, we recommend following these care instructions for different ink types. For water-based and discharge ink prints, machine wash cold and tumble dry low. Plastisol prints, on the other hand, should be washed inside out and tumble dried on low heat. It’s important to note that all goods should be washed before wearing.

Hand Feel

Plastisol inks are composed of PVC, making them a form of plastic. As a result, they sit on top of the shirt and can be easily felt by hand. Although they may become slightly softer after washing, they will retain this distinctive “hand” feel. On the other hand, water-based inks, particularly discharge ink, may initially have a slight hand feel before the first wash. However, after washing, this feeling generally diminishes, leaving a soft and smooth texture. It’s worth mentioning that the hand feel can vary and be more noticeable with specialty or high-opacity inks.

At 6ix Print Custom, we prioritize the quality and durability of our prints. By following these care instructions, you can help maintain the appearance and feel of your garments for an extended period. Should you have any further questions or require additional information.

Image Placement

At 6ix Print Custom, we strive to maintain consistent image placement across all garments within a print run. However, it’s important to note that minor variations can occur. For instance, if you request an image to be printed 2 inches below the bottom of a collar, a standard deviation of 3/4 inch in either direction will be considered acceptable. Similarly, if you request images to be printed near the tag area on the back of the shirt, including directly over the tag, there may be slight ink coverage inconsistencies, which are still within acceptable limits.

We understand the significance of precise image placement, and our team takes great care to ensure a high level of consistency. Rest assured that any minor variations fall within industry standards and will not compromise the overall quality of your printed garments.

Reorder Ink Color

When it comes to reordering prints, it’s important to acknowledge that achieving an exact ink color match can be challenging due to the nature of screen printing ink and variations in fabric lots. While we make every effort to match the original color as closely as possible, it’s important to understand that there may be slight variations between orders.

If you anticipate the need for reorders, we appreciate it if you inform us in advance. This allows us to keep the specific ink color on hand, increasing the likelihood of achieving consistent color results across multiple orders. Our team is dedicated to delivering the best possible outcome, and we value your satisfaction with the final product.

At 6ix Print Custom, we prioritize attention to detail and strive for excellence in every aspect of the printing process. If you have any further questions or concerns regarding image placement or ink color consistency.

Ink Color & Pantone Matching

At 6ix Print Custom, we strive to provide accurate and vibrant ink colors for your screen printing projects. However, due to the inherent nature of screen printing inks, we are unable to guarantee an exact match to requested Pantone colors. While our standard ink color list includes approximate Pantone values for most colors, please note that these values may or may not be utilized in the provided mockup. It’s important to understand that ink colors cannot be solely relied upon based on visual mockups.

To ensure color accuracy, we strongly recommend cross-referencing the colors provided with a Pantone book. Pantone books offer precise and standardized color references that go beyond the variations found on computer monitors. You can conveniently purchase Pantone books from online retailers like Amazon.com.

We understand the importance of color consistency and strive to achieve the closest match to your desired Pantone colors. However, it’s essential to keep in mind that variations can occur due to the limitations of the screen printing process and the inherent differences between Pantone swatches and ink on fabric. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Ink Color Change Minimums

For orders requiring changes in ink colors on a single location, please note that there will be an additional charge of $15 per change per location. We strive to accommodate your customization needs and ensure your design is executed flawlessly. This minimal charge helps cover the costs associated with color changeovers and ensures smooth production processes.

If you have any specific inquiries or require further clarification regarding ink colors or color change minimums, Email us at: sales@6ixprintcustom.store

However, please note that orders requiring expedited processing may be subject to a rush fee to ensure timely delivery.

Once your goods have been shipped, 6ix Print Custom relinquishes responsibility for any issues or damages that may occur during transit.

Differentiating Custom and Contract Orders

At 6ix Print Custom, we categorize orders as either custom or contract based on whether we supply the blank garments or if you provide them. While most policies and guidelines mentioned on this page pertain to custom orders, they also apply to contract orders with a few exceptions. It’s important to note these distinctions and the specific policies that may differ.

One policy that varies for contract orders is the calculation of the Under/Over Run Allowance. For custom orders, we have a standard 5% under allowance per location being printed. However, for contract orders, the under allowance is extended to 15% per location.

We aim to provide a seamless experience for both custom and contract orders, ensuring high-quality prints and customer satisfaction. Should you have any further inquiries or require clarification regarding the specific policies and guidelines for your order type.

Managing Contract Order Garments

For contract orders, we kindly ask for an itemized list specifying the style, color, size, and quantity of each garment being delivered. This allows us to cross-check the delivered quantity against the stated order quantity, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Failure to provide a receiving summary may result in a confirmation fee of $25 per 100 pieces.

To streamline our operations, it is important that orders are shipped in a sorted manner, without mixing them with other orders. In the event that garments are shipped unsorted or combined with different orders, sorting fees will apply at a rate of $75 per hour, with a minimum charge of $25 per order. Please note that we cannot assume responsibility for shortages in such cases.

By providing us with a comprehensive itemized list and adhering to the guidelines mentioned above, we can ensure a smooth process and minimize any potential discrepancies. If you have any further questions or require clarification regarding the handling of contract order garments, please feel free to contact our team.

It’s important to note that the final artwork may impact the quoted price, and we will need to review it to confirm any previously provided quotes. The final invoice will reflect the actual quantity shipped rather than the initially quoted quantity (refer to Invoiced Quantity for more details).
